01 Arrival and transfer to your hotel

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our company driver guide who will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Entebbe Hotel as you truly relax from the jet lag and prepare for the next day’s adventure. Meal plan: Dinner

02 Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Early in the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Murchison Falls, which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda, so that you have a complete feel of the African Big Five mammals, as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National Park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time before embarking on an exciting road trip to Murchison Falls, arriving in the evening. After checking in at the lodge, your safari guide will lead you on the  evening game drive in Murchison Falls National Park to look out for lions, hyenas, and leopards, among others proceed back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner at the Lodge Meal plan: All meals are included

03 Morning game drive- Boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls

After an early morning warm-up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like Lions, Giraffes, oribis, Elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and Buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax, preparing for yet another exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three-boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls, where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, hippos, in the water and some on the river banks, while; buffaloes, and waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included

04 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park primates' capital.

After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park, the capital of primates such as chimpanzees, baboons, and monkeys. With en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for relaxation. Later in the day, you will transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. There, you shall take a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife, including birds and many monkey species. You will retire for the day at the lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included

05 Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Community Walk

Kibale National Park is the primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzee trekking is a fulfilling adventure that takes you deep in the tropical forest across streams of water. You might have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white Columbus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from the canopies while on this safari. With the help of your guide, you will locate the chimps. Enjoy picture moments and watch them as they play and feed. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Village and the wetland known for its rich diversity of birds and primates, depending on the availability of time. By taking this tour, you are contributing to the development of this community because the proceeds are used to build schools and offer small loans.

06 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Crater Lake Visit

After breakfast, our tour continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife experience in the plain of Kasenyi. The drive will take us through views of several crater lakes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges en route. On arrival in the park, we shall have a small game drive as we proceed to the lodge for lunch and dinner, and overnight at the Lodge

07 Whole day in Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel/optional community walk

Have an early morning breakfast, then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five, including Buffalos, elephants, Lions, and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas, and waterbucks. In the afternoon hours, you will partake in a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos, and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen, including the rare shoe bill. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included

08 Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Gorilla land for the Batwa Community Walk

Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, this area is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha, we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis and African Elephants plus hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue with the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savannas via cultivated hills to jungle-covered mountains. Upon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will head for the cultural tour of the Batwa forest pygmies community to experience their lifestyle and enjoy their excellent traditional dance. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included.

09 Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After an early morning breakfast, and with your picnic lunch, we then take a short drive to the park offices for a briefing, where we meet the excellent local guides and trackers who give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. We then hike into the forest to a spot where gorillas were seen the previous night and track from there. Trekking may take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the family and the altitude, which is more than 7500 feet. The terrain is rough and muddy, calling for physical fitness. Although the hike is physically demanding, the beauty of the forest and surrounding scenery make the trek worthwhile. It is recommended that you take plenty of water with you on the trek. Cameras and plenty of fast-speed films are recommended. Later, transfer to Lake Mburo for trekking. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

10 Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Entebbe Airport via the Equator Line

After having an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. This park is famous for zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos, and many tropical bird species. Afterward, check out of the hotel and transfer to Kampala Town via the equator for lunch and a photographic moment. Meal plan: All meals are included.

Note#1 What to prepare for during the Gorilla trekking Activity
  • Bwindi Impenetrable National Park requires hiking; you should pace yourself and drink plenty of water.
  • Eating, drinking, and smoking near the gorillas are forbidden. Your ranger guide will communicate a designated time and place for such.
  • We encourage you to carry a rain poncho
  • Waterproof walking shoes or hiking boots are essential.
  • Gardening gloves for protection against stinging plants
  • Long trousers and long-sleeved sweaters or shirts while in the forest to avoid insect stings.
  • Photography is permitted, although you must not use flash
  • Porters are available to help you carry your day pack for a minimum fee of $20 or UGX 50,000
Note#2 Important information

Gorilla trekking is dependent on the availability of permits at the time of your booking. Gorilla permits in all the national parks of Uganda and Rwanda are in high demand; we advise that you book your tour well in advance to avoid disappointment. If gorilla permits are not available for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, it’s possible to see the mountain gorillas at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is 7 kilometers from the town of Kisoro in Uganda.
